Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup tahini stirred well
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1.5 tsp white miso
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup oat flour
  • Pinch sea salt
  • Few dashes of ground cinnamon
  • Optional: 1 tbsp cacao nibs or 2 tbsp chocolate chips
  • 3 oz dark chocolate chopped
  • 1 tsp coconut oil

Instructions

  • In a medium bowl, whisk together tahini, maple syrup, miso and vanilla extract. Add the flour, cinnamon and sea salt and mix well to combine. Fold in the cacao nibs. Roll into 12 balls and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Freeze for 20-30 minutes.
  • Add chocolate chips and coconut oil to a small bowl and heat in the microwave, stirring every 30 seconds so it doesn’t burn.
  • Using a fork, coat each ball in melted chocolate, letting the excess drip off. Place back on the baking sheet. Once the chocolate has firmed up bit, use a spoon to drizzle extra melted chocolate on each bite and sprinkle with flaked sea salt if desired. Place in fridge to allow the chocolate to set and then store in the fridge until ready to eat.

Notes

Storage: Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
